Gemini can learn from your past chats, keeps a memory summary you can view and edit, and takes instructions you write. Dray saves your gemini.google.com chats to your own Dray account, where every assistant and agent you connect can search them.
Needs Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave or Opera on a computer.

How Gemini remembers on its own
“You can get a personalized experience from Gemini Apps using memory of your past chats.” Gemini “can learn from your chats to understand more about you and your world.” Gemini Apps Help: memory of past chats
It needs a personal Google Account, an age of 18 or over, and Keep Activity turned on. It isn’t available on work, school or supervised accounts. Gemini Apps Help: memory of past chats
The memory summary shows what Gemini understands about you. You can view, edit and delete it: open Settings, then Personal Intelligence, then Memory summary, or ask “What do you know about me?” Gemini Apps Help: memory summary
You can also give Gemini instructions to apply to every chat, under “Your instructions for Gemini” in Personal context. Google warns that telling Gemini to forget or avoid a topic “doesn’t always work perfectly”. To fully stop a topic, delete the related chats from your Gemini Apps Activity. Gemini Apps Help: your instructions
Temporary Chats are kept for up to 72 hours. Google says they won’t be used to personalize Gemini or to train its AI models. Google: Temporary Chats
Added as a connector, Gemini can search what you saved from ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and your coding agents. Dray: connect
Gemini then uses Dray on its own when your memory would help. You can also type @Dray. Dray: connect
You choose how far back Dray reads, from the last three days to all of your history. When you delete a chat in Gemini while Dray is running, Dray deletes it from your memory too. Dray helpDray privacy policy
On a saved chat, the Dray menu offers “Ask ChatGPT about this chat” (or Claude), listing only assistants you have connected. It opens that assistant with the request typed, and you press Send yourself. Dray help
Antigravity is Google’s coding agent, and it has its own page: see Antigravity memory.
Set it up
The Dray extension sets this up for you. It adds Dray to Gemini’s Connected apps as a custom app and signs in to Dray. It sets every Dray tool to Always allow, so Gemini doesn’t stop to ask. You can change that on Dray’s page in Gemini’s connected apps. It also writes one line about Dray into Saved info for you to submit. Dray helpDray: connect
Set it up by hand
Server URL
https://mcp.withdray.com/mcp
Open gemini.google.com/customize/connectors, choose + Custom, paste the server URL and choose Next.
Tick the box, choose Connect, then Agree and continue.
Choose Connect on Dray’s page, then Connect again in Gemini.
Custom connectors need a personal Google account with Keep Activity turned on, and Google is still rolling them out. If you don’t see + Custom, it isn’t on your account yet. Dray: connect
Check that it works
Paste this into a new Gemini chat. Dray can take about 15 minutes to learn from a new message. Dray help
Prompt
Use Dray to tell me what you remember about my current projects. If no memory is available, say so.
Limits
Custom connectors aren’t on every account yet. Until + Custom shows for you, Dray still saves your chats for your other assistants, but Gemini itself can’t look anything up. Dray: connect
Dray doesn’t change Gemini’s own memory, so it can’t edit your memory summary or your instructions.
Saving chats needs Chrome (116 or later), Firefox (140 or later), Edge, Brave or Opera on a computer. Safari, phones and tablets can’t install the extension. Dray help
Reading may miss or misread chats, and memory extraction can be wrong.
Some business plans switch MCP off or allow only approved servers. Dray: connect
Dray learns from 1,000, 5,000 or 20,000 of your messages a month, depending on your plan. Going over deletes nothing; new messages wait until the month resets or you move up. Dray: usage
