How usage works
Every plan has every feature, your whole history included. What changes between plans is how much Dray does for you each month. These are the numbers behind “5x” and “20x”.
What counts
Two things count. Both reset every month on the day your plan renews. Yearly plans reset monthly too, on the same day of the month.
Messages Dray learns from. A message you send in any assistant Dray is connected to, or a memory one of your agents saves. Dray reads it and keeps what matters.
Lookups. Each time an assistant or agent checks Dray for context. A web chat makes a few a day. A coding agent can make many more. Every 10 messages your chats post to chat links count as one lookup too, whoever owns the links. Any file posted with them counts toward your file storage.
Your first 30 days include an extra month of learning, so bringing in your history doesn’t use up your plan: 1,000 extra messages on Pro, 5,000 on Max 5x, 20,000 on Max 20x. After that, every message counts.

Max 5x is five times Pro and Max 20x is twenty times, the same way Claude and ChatGPT size their plans. As Dray gets cheaper to run we’ll raise these, and this page will say when.
File storage is how much Dray keeps for you at once, not a monthly amount: the files and images saved from your chats, and files posted to chat links. Past it, Dray still saves your chats and the names of their files, but stops keeping the files themselves.
Near your limit
At 80% of either number, Dray tells you, with the date you’ll reach it at your current pace.
Going over deletes nothing. Dray keeps saving your chats, they stay searchable, and your assistants can still look things up in your memory.
Once your messages run out, new ones wait to be learned from until the month resets or you move up. Once your lookups run out, your chats can still read chat links but can’t post to them until then.
Changing plans
Moving up starts straight away. You pay the difference for the rest of your billing period, and any messages that were waiting are learned at once.
Moving down starts at your next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then.
